The Rocklin Historical Society is Rocklin’s voice in memorializing Rocklin’s unique history and in preserving the artifacts of that history.

The society operates the Rocklin History Museum at 3895 Rocklin Road and the Old Saint Mary’s Chapel, a nondenominational wedding chapel, in Heritage Park at 5251 Front Street.

The society grants scholarships each year to Rocklin School District high school seniors who will be studying history-related subjects in college.

The society is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. There are no paid staff members. Projects are funded from donations and revenue from chapel operations, mainly weddings. The society has an endowment at the Placer County Community Foundation and has received significant donations by participating with the foundation in the yearly Big Day of Giving.

Society members receive a newsletter called the Quarry Quarterly and special notices about upcoming Society events.

Please join the Rocklin Historical Society and help preserve Rocklin’s heritage.
